Southwest Style

I’m sure this correlates with my obsession with feathered fashions these days, but as much as I resisted the Southwestern prints coming back in style, I’m now embracing it and have an eye on a few must-haves of my own. Living in the Southwest, Native American-inspired prints seem to have always been readily available, however until recently, the colors were more limited to reds, navy blue, turquoise and mustard yellows. Softer tones are now on-trend, and I’m loving the creams and soft camel combos, and the more subtle incorporation of the traditional hues.

Here are just a few on my ever-growing wish list:

Feathers and Fashion

I’m so into feathers lately – and my fascination with them has come a long way from the construction paper and Elmer’s glue creations that I once used to showcase the stray feathers I’d find on the farm as a child.

Feathers are such a graceful accent to any outfit and add a touch of the Southwest, which I always love. Here are just a few of my faves!
