Congratulations are in order for this new mama who welcomed sweet little Pearl this winter! Pearl is the happiest little calf, bouncing and bucking, and testing out those skinny little legs of hers. We will have so much fun watching Pearl grow up!
When decorating our oldest baby’s room, I wanted him to be surrounded by photos of the nature around us right here in Fredericksburg, so I took some of my favorite photos and had them printed on wood. From these donkeys above, to the goats below, he’s now pointing to the animals above his crib, prompting me to entertain him with animal sounds and terribly off-key versions of Old MacDonald.
To go with his rustic-themed room, we had them printed on wood using PhotoBarn, and they turned out awesome!
The wreath on our front door is made from gorgeous white peonies and blue hydrangeas, and wrapped in burlap (thankyouverymuch Pinterest, for the idea!), but it’s definitely summery so it’s time for a change.
Here are some of my inspirations:
Burlap fall wreath with red and mustard flowers from TheRuffledPage.
Clockwise from top left: Burlap wreath with cream sunflowers from Frontporchdecor; cream and purple hydrangeas wreath from HomeByHolly; mulled cider fall wreath with rustic metal star from WildRidgeDesign; peony door wreath from ElegantWreath.
Twig wreath with crow fall door wreath - just one of many fall door and entryway decorating ideas from Better Homes & Gardens.
Fredericksburg is in full bloom, and the whole countryside is getting more alive and colorful by the day! Bluebonnets, Primrose, and Texas paintbrushes are beginning to pop up along the roads as just a hint to what’s to come.
