We drink a lot of wine at home with our meals, but kind of randomly – I choose wines at the store by the labels and the prices that I like, and have a few old faithful wines that I always keep on hand. But when it comes to pairing wines with foods, I was clueless. And when it comes to entertaining, it seems like we should at least know the basics when offering our guests a glass of wine to pair with their dinner so I did a little research. I came across this fantastic Wine Pairing Infographic Chart from Wine Folly, within their post about the 5 Tips to Perfect Food and Wine Pairings. They make it super easy with this chart and their tips such as “As a general rule, make sure that the wine is sweeter than the food and you will have a successful wine pairing.” Check out their post for more!
