Mason Jar Crafts
I’ve been on the hunt for mason jars lately, stopping in thrift shops here and there and collecting one or two at a time. Then it finally occurred to me to ask my grandmother if she had any saved up. Sure enough, she was beyond excited to unload some of the boxes upon boxes of mason jars she has saved up in one of her storage rooms. I hauled them back home with me now I am so excited… four dozen of the pint size and four dozen of the quart size, all ready and waiting for craft time in my garage! A few inspirational craft ideas that I’ll be trying…
Mason jar candle wrapped with lace or doily from Marie’s Pintrest.
Mason Jar Votive Candle Holders from The Efflorescence.
An aMmmmazing idea and mouth-watering recipe to use mason jars to serve dessert. These could also be used as gifts or favors at a shower! Get details on the DYI and recipe on Cakies.
One of my favorites is this mason jar sewing kit that could be given as a gift! This idea is from a darling crafting blog called Wait Until Your Father Gets Home. (Love that site name!)
Simple display and organization for life’s everyday stuff, from TFD on Etsy.

Paisley Tattoo
I’ve been craving a new tattoo for quite some time, obsessing over what to get… for the past six months I’ve been looking at paisley prints, bandana prints and old brandings for inspiration. I knew I wanted something symbolic of my background and reminiscent of home, but wasn’t sure I could pull off a real Texas tattoo. Finally, found it!
And voila! Love it. And yes, I know I need a pedi!
And the best part?? I got to do it with one of my best childhood friends! (We’re still debating who was the bad influence here, haha).
